Rina!

We hosted a Japanese nursing student this past week and a half. Her name is Rina and is from Osaka. She was the best exchange student we have had. Her English was very good and she was confident in speaking and telling us what she wanted to do, etc. when she was here. She is a really nice girl and very easy going and pleasant.
We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and had to include Katie's birthday as part of the fun. They have you sit on a saddle and everyone shouts out a big "yee-haw".
We had fun playing games with her. Caroline even got her to play a full game of monopoly! During her stay we tried to have a variety of different foods, went shopping, bowling, watched some BYU basketball, went to a wedding reception, watched some American Idol and a movie and went to visit Nelson's parents. She got to do a lot of other things with the group she came over with.
David had a court of honor Sunday night so it was fun for her to get to see that, also. He earned another 3 merit badges and now has 4 more and an eagle project to earn his eagle. Keep it up, David, you're awesome!

Rina plays basketball on her college team so we spent some time playing basketball. The kids sure had fun with her!
