This year all 3 kids were old enough to go to the New Year's dance held at Orem High. It's a church dance for the 7 stakes that go to Orem High. They start with a really awesome speaker for about 20 minutes and then go into the dance. Katie was asked to conduct the meeting and the song. She almost gave the prayer also but, hey, someone else gets to do something. Even though our stake wasn't in charge of providing chaperones this year, Nelson and I went for a while just to mingle with the kids in our ward and have some fun. They had a picture backdrop set up with props for the kids to get their picture taken and then put them on facebook afterwards. It's too bad you can't see David's feet...think Michael Jackson. He wasn't too sure he wanted to go but the girls made his first stake dance a success, even if he won't admit it. What boy wouldn't want to be stalked by the two cutest girls at the dance?
